Welcome to Hamptons Youth
Hamptons Health and Social Care was established in November 2010 and its first project Hamptons Youth has been a huge success with our young people. With our dedicated support staff we set up to help young care leavers step into the big world.
As a 16 – 18 year old many transitions take place not only from a personal perspective i.e growing from childhood in to adulthood with all the added responsibilities that involves, but also for careleaver’s there is the added stress of physically moving accommodation and learning how to live independently.
What we provide is high quality, modern flats in central Birmingham all within walking distance from our offices. We offer a safe, secure and welcoming living environment, with a tailored support plan devised with full participation and consultation of the young person and their keyworker. The key worker would become the main support for the young person whilst in placement, empowering them to manage and maintain their tenancies whilst accessing life skills training as required.
Our main focus is on helping the young care leavers access employment, training and educational opportunities and to ensure their overall well being. This is done through partnership work with all of the local colleges, employers and training providers, health professionals, social workers, aftercare advisors and other statutory bodies involved with the young person. We fully support, advise and assist our young people to achieve their full potential in life.
